Richardson Road
An extensive renovation of a 70s style stucco home overlooking the stunning Tasman Bay. Our clients desire was to experience elements of both Māori and Japanese culture within their home, to reflect their connection to both. Recycled Rimu from the old Artery on New St, Jarrah, and Cedar were used in the reno to create a simple, light, warm & welcoming home. Interior kitchen joinery by MAKE, using Okoume and Keruing ply resulted in a functional kitchen & prep space – the type of kitchen you don’t mind working in! Outwardly the connection of home with harbour was magnified through the use of huge view-framing windows, large sliders, not to mention a great deck!
